The market on beef steer did not show any very material change, price generally looking about steady with yesterday. On the other hand It must be remembered that beef steers outside of the few of the choicest cornfed are 80330a lower than last week. Buyers of cow and heifer did not seem to be in need of fresh supplies and henoe were not very active buyers ot the re ceipts in sight. Thus the market was slow to loo lower than yesterday or VKbYie lower than last week. This decline, however, was mora noticeable on the In-between kinds, the choice cornfeds and the common cuimera showing little decline.
