Oerty. Sh then ran out to play and told

day. Through tha day many dogl were
brought, but none were tha right . one.
"If the people who own these dogs would
have advertised, the dogs might hav ,
bea brought to them." "Ot course," aaid
Mr. Raffoen.
That evening tha door bell rang, and a
man cam with a dog In his arma. It.
- was a fog terrier, who was no other than
Foxy. Oarty'a dog.
"I saw your advertisement" he - said,
"and 1 cam to sea It this Is yours." "In
deed It la," cried Oerty, "Oh thank you."
Mrs. Raffoen gave him a ooupU of dollars.
He was very grateful for them, tor he
aald he had been without work and his
wit was sick. His poor child helped to
take car ot too house. He said he could
advertise for a position. You he was
very grateful. The next day hi adver

day It was not. A few days after he
cam up to th houa and aald he had
had a position ever sine h advertised,
he bought medicine and his wlf was
well.

Hollenbeck had one of hi good days and
the local batsmen were helpless before
him. Two of their five hit were scratches
On the other hand, Watt, who was an
enigma for Omaha for two Innings that he
worked yesterday, was as easy as was
Clark, who succeeded him. For. the mot
part the game was dull and featureless.
Western! Introduced a little life Into It In
the seventh Inning by robbing King of a
hit when he grabbed the latter' hard drive
within six Inches ot the ground. Eight
Wichita players were forced at second. The
