Holland itnd Jils yilit band of youths
from the prairies of Kansas swept Into
oniHlm Tuesday ufternoon with the aaser
ton lluit.tlicy wcia going to sweep Omaha.
Tlu.t was a lively looking bunch Manager
and Owner . Holland led into the Millard
liltl. 'I'iu y looked ' like "a lot of college
youths out for a lark. Of course Weaver
lromed up t!ie t;llletd. With his six foot
seven and blue socks. Others wore lame
gold medals tliey had win on college ath
letic fields.
Manager .Holland explained all this by
saying:
"1 guess these other managers thought
we were a lot of youngsters nnd under
estimated us. While Soma of the boys may
look a little young, they are pretty well
reasoned In lutse ball and will be able t.i
kefp them all guessing, for some time to
come. '
"The Omaha team looked good in Wichita
and except for the pitchers played great
ball. I guess the snow In the mountain
towns set thu pitchers temporarily wrong.
Graham played magnificent ball In Wichita
and did not show any ill effects of his
year's. lay-off
'Wlohllji., siuprlsrd, 11 tho manager by

Omaha has never seen Roller work, but
it has seen Westergaard and likes him.
In fact. Jess is a big favorite here. He is
a comer and is desperately anxious In beat
Koller. He will bend the last energy at
his command to throw the wily doctor.
This match will follow close on the heels
of the match between Gotch and Olson,
which comes off at the Auditorium the
