Among the number were some pretty decent killers, both steers and cow stuff. The market s a whole did not show much change. . Beef steers generally sold In shout tha same notches ss yesterday, but the trsde wa not particularly active, partly due to the fact that salesmen were all holding out for pretty stiff prices and trying to force as much out. of the market a possible. Some good yearlings sold up as high as 6 00. Cow and heifers were a little stronger than yefiterday' close, or about like yes terday morning. A we the case with beef steers, the market waa net especially active, but still pretty much everything changed hands in very reasonable season. Blockers and feeders were Id very light aupply and, as usual, toward thei close of the week, there was not very much de mand. The market as a whole did not show any new features or any change in prlcea, oa compared with yesterday.
