One party weighed 23 and the other 189 pounds. Before the match bad gone very far both participants had forgotten the rules of Hoylo and were go ing at It every way. NEBRASKA CITY-Yesterday Samuel Schuster, one of the pioneer settlers of this county, died at his borne In this city, having Buffered a stroke of paralysis. He was 82 yeara of age. The day before hia death he was down town aa usual and on going home late In the afternoon waa stricken near his own home and lay on the cold ground for nearly an hour before being found. He did not rally from the shock and the chill. SUTHERLAND Butcher Wohlford snd three asatstanta had a close call from se rious injury or death at the alaughter house Tuesday night while at work dressing meat. A small boiler used for furnishing hot water exploded from aome unknown cause, scat tering Iron missiles in a shower about the lace, almost completely wrecking the u ldlna. NEBRASKA CITY-A suit haa been brought In the district court by Miss Minnie Oppie, against Noah Morrow, n merchant and postmaster at Minersviile, wherein she aaka the court to award her Judgment against the defendant, stating in her petition that she went into the post office after her mail and the defendant flew Into a violent rare and abused and put her out of the building. She claims she haa Buffered greatly from worry and mortification over her treatment and the language used. The defendant la wealthy and will fight the case. TECUMSEH-Joneph W. Buffum of this city, a veteran of the civil war, suffered an Injury at the Red River campaign, which caused him to suffer s stiffened snkle joint. During all ths yeara since that engagement the gentleman haa been slightly lame, caused by this stiff joint. One day this week aa the gentleman was aeated at hia home the stiffening suddenly Wt the member, and hia ankle is perfectly limber and he can use It as well as he ever could.
