Zeppelin is building another airship which
will bear the name of Zeppelin III, and
which he expecla to be ftniahed by the end
of March. He ia also cAnstructlng a float
ing tent for housing the new airship. The
count has introduced a new method for
discharging gas from balloons. Heretofore
the gas has been discharged within the
clgar-ahaped covering, but with the new
airship tubes will reach upward, discharg
ing It into the open air, thus minimising
danger from explosion.

men and 150 natives were drowned today
In the Witmaters Rand Gold mine, which
became fljoded by the bursting of Knight's
dam. Heavy rains cause the dam to give
way.
The water from the dam flooded also the
lower sections of the town of Elsburg. A
number of houses were swept away and
thirteen persons drowned.
