not pay the bills presented by the Omaha
Water company for water used in the foun
tains and watering basins in its parks. The

missioners, but they were on Tuesday re
turned to the city comptroller by Super
intendent W. R. Adams of the parka wlih
the statement that the commissioners
would have naught to do with them and
