cide. Friends of the couple, on the other
hand, believe that the pair met with foul
play. Brault was ii years of as. He

business. Mrs. Brault, who Is five years
her husband's Junior, is his second wife.

Kenner, who until ten days ago lived with
her son, WHUam Nye, at 1610 Biddle street.
This waa settled by a telegram which Nye
received today from Mrs. William Wilson
of Loulavllle, Ky., a daughter of Mrs. Ken
ner. In an interview today William Nye, son
of Mrs. Kenner, declared that Just before
she left St. Louts his mother had said to
him:
"If I die in Kansas City see that I am
buried In the family vault in Louisville."
Mrs. Nye said that her mother-in-law
explained this statement by sayln;: "Well,
you never can tell what will happen."
Mrs. Kenner Introduced her companion
to her son's family as "William G. Brandt.'

None of them had heard that he had mar
ried again. Brault left here ten days ago
ahd had corresponded with his relatives
since.
