R. J. Morris, who was arrested by the
police Wednesday evening, has been turned
over to the county authorities, who Intend
to have htm examined and sent to an In
stitution for dipsomaniacs. He was locked
up in company with L L. Hazard, alias
Long, on request of a local merchant
whom they tried to persuade to cash a
check to which Morris had forged hi
mother's name. Officers Neilsen and Chap
man were sent to arrest the young; men.
