Wakeley, general passenger agent of the Burlington, Friday night received a telegram frirn the Chicago ofllces stating that action on the original request of the board of governors of the Ak-Sar-Btn, filed last August, had been reconsidered and that a rate of a fare a tut a half would be granted from points In Nebraska and from points In western Iowa. Tickets will be sold from September 18 to October 2, the return limit being fixed at October 6. Great Weatera llestores Rates. The local agent of the Groat Western line has received offtclul authority to place special Ak-Sar-Ben rates In effect, the announcement of which was made first of all the roads FYiday. The Great West ern, through the general passenger agent at Bt. Paul, Friday was Instrumental In the movement looking to lower rates, which has culminated In the general action of all the lines so far except the Union Pacific.
