Though less than 1.000 miles from home, the Cleveland Credit men found their money running short and W. 8. Wrleht furnished more. The Omaha hardware dealer and trade excursionist received a carefully sealed package from George Mc intosh of the Mcintosh Hardware com pany, Cleveland. It was labeled "Relief Fund for Cleveland Sufferers." . and Mr. Wright was directed to turn the funds over to W. M. Patterson, who headed the Cleve land party. Mr. Wright found Mr. Patter son behind a portrait of Secretary Taft and presented the "funds" with a touching little speech, In which he told how the Omaha business men would have been glad to raise a fund for the relief of the party. Mr. Tatterson thanked Mr. Wright and opened the package. It contained (1,000 in 1100 "Chad wick" currency, otherwise known as "stage money." The "relief fund" was distributed equally among the eighty-four members of ths party. After the trip to the Field club the peo ple from the Buckeye state were taken around the city and left at S:M o'clock for Denver over the Union Pacific, their ae clal consisting of the best equipment ob tainable. rtrsossfl ( ts Party. Wyoming is again agitated over the dis covery of a new oil well which promises to furnish a large supply of Illuminating oil of the highest grade. In borlhg for oil one and a quarter miles west of Byron a gusher was struck last week which Is pouring out Snn barrels a day and It is not yet com rletely under control. Other smaller wells have been struck in that vicinity so thai the totsl output near Byron is now about 000 barrels a day. It Is the plan of the Wyoming ft Montana Oil company to build a pipe line to Cowley and there build re finery.
