Base Ball at Mitchell.
MITCHELL, B. D., May 18. (Special )
The base ball fans of this city have about
completed their arrangements for a strong
club this summer. They have secured a
battery to change off with the local bat
tery and they will have their first gsme
Tuesday with the Alexandria nine. Efforts
will b made to get possession of a block
of ground In the eastern part of the city
to establish a ball 'park, as the University
athletic grounds are too far away to at
tract many fans to the game. With the
outside battery the- local players believe
they will be able to hold their own with
any of the clubs in this section of the state,
and in a short time the team manager will
bo ready to make a schedule of games for
the rest of the summer.
