The suspension of another Stock exchange firm today following the sui cide yesterday of the Junior member waa followed by a large volume of trans action in the course of buying In stookg for tha firm' account. That left only about one dosen fresh cars, with a few scatter ing loads carried over from yesterday. The market waa in just about the same condi tion mat it has been In for some little time, that la, very slow with the tendency gradu ally lowe,'. Buyers all seemed to want a few good killers, and they picked out early what they especially wsnted and after that the trade was a drag, the same as every day. Still practically everything waa die posed of. To call the genral market slow to 10c lower would just sbout cover the situation. Very good wooled lamb sold up to 17.60, gs high aa at any time within a week or more and pretty close up to the top at Chicago. Oood clipped yearlings brought 16.80, with very good clipped ewe at 86. CO, and wooled awes at StVW. - While price have been working lower at thl point. It. would be well for shipper to understand that the market I alao lower at other selling point aa well, and that the prevailing prioea here ar very good a compared with the way sheep and lamb are selling at other market.
