to tiie convention, and tha efforts of tha
Jims and tha Jacks to get him to ride on
their trains, by announcing that he will go
to Denver five days before the conven

democracy of Douglas county wanted Dunn
to grant the graclousness of his presence
on their trains on account of his being
mora or leas in the limelight aa the man
designated to make the speech this year
nominating the perennial candidate for
presidential honors.
Tha Burlington operating department la

Silk Splits
Do not underrate this offering. Do not judge
the suits by the price. It's misleading. Here is
as fine a collection of smart new styles in silk
jumpers, shirt waist suits and tailored silk
dresses as one could reasonably expect to find at
115.00 to $18.50., They are simply beautiful,
exquisitely fashioned, nicely trimmed with laces,
tucks, folds,' bands, and the like, while the gen
eral tailoring and finish is very superior. There
are plain colored taffetas in Copenhagen, new
leather browns, tans, lavender, navy, also black
and a Fpleiidld assortment of fancy
checks and Striped silks. No other
store hereabouts has ever shown so
much for the money as the offering
involves. We expect to sell several
hundred Friday, for the price Is a
marvel for cheapness:
