before the Real Eatate cschange at Us

importance of advertising the city and Its

Following Mr. Hunter's address and re
marks by W. H Orecm to the effect that
the people in the east did not know the
Indians had left Omaha, President Graham
appointed an advertising committee, which
was Instructed to make some plans , for
advertising Omaha. F. D. Wead, Byron
Hastings, C. V. Harrison and W. H. Green
were the members of the committee ap
pointed. Secretary Harry Tukey announced
that a new cut had been secured for print
ing envelopes, showing a good view of the
business district of Omaha, and many of
the real estate dealers expressed a . de
termination to use them as soon as printed.

la. The quiet life suited mm until - re
cently, when he grew tired of -the . mo
notonous round of daily chores. Then he
had a disagreement with ' his father and
the latter administered a thrashing. Then
Harry had gathered together all the cash
he rould snd started upon his travels. He
