alarm, because the public will lose nothing
by these failures. They are failures which
would have taken place during the panic,
but which were staved off as a matter of
policy because of the. effect they might
have had at that time. The banks, how

wss over, and now, with their business
gone, they are closing their doors."

suitable for a branch road that runs eo

tion." When Sir lidgar alighted from the train

suggestion to take an automobile rido and,
returning from the Overland sleeper, he
ii soon esconced In a large coat which
was tho envy of many men at the station.

auto ride, although his low quarter shoes
and turned-tip trousers did not match his
fur-lined coat.' From his six-foot-four Sir
Edgar is a most observing man.

year. This has Jut been decided upon at
a meeting of the automobile men of Omaha.
All the dealers favored holding a show
except one. l'arnani street dealer, but tho
others, decided to go ahead anyway and
hold the show. Another meeting will be
held next Monday, when committees will
be appointed to proceed with the show.
Manager Olllan of the Auditorium has been
In touch with the dealers and the dates for
the el low will be for three days between
March 15 and April 1. Last year's show
was such an unqualified success that the
dealers slate they cannot understand the
action of any dealer In doing all ho ran to
head off a show this year.
