The police station was notified that he was
bound for Council Bluffs when he secured
a horse and bugg-y for that purpose at the
Betts barn and the two captains met tilm
at the bridge. He will be turned over to
the (South Omaha authorities. As evidence
of his allesed forging operations he carried
a number of check books, several of them
on the First National bank of Chanute,
Kan. One of these books was marked as
the property of E. E. Prlchard and It la
believed that hs misread thta name and
though he was gtvtag It when hs called
himself U E. Richards.
