Schlrner,- who died at a local hospital Monday aa the result of an operation, and was buried in St. Mary Magdalene ceme tery, South Omaha. Wedneaday. He was born In Berlin, Germany, In 11. and while still little more than a boy, marched away with the great armies that fought against France In the Franco-Prussian war. After the war he emigrated to America and settled In Nebraska City, where he practiced for several yeara aa physician.
