The Union Pacific Shops team won from the Crelghton university team at Creighton university campus Saturday afternoon by the score of 6 to 6 In a game full of Inter est from start to finish. Crelghton got a good lead In the opening Inning, but was unable to hold Its advantage, while Mc Keen's gaeollne motor boys worked along until the last Inning, when four runs won the game. Young pitched a good game for the Shops, although he had himself In several tight pinches, but by cool work and the aid of the men back of him he wns able to extri cate himself. The seventh looked espe cially bad. as Crelghton had three men on bases with but one out. Nestlebush, play ing third for the Shops, dame to the rescue at that stage and retired the side by a neat double play unassisted. Victory came to the Shops In the ninth inning when E. Clair led off with a two bagger, followed by another by Deshler, who was sent to bat for Young, and who scored Clair. Casey,' the next man up, singled to right and Dougherty hit to cen ter, sending both Deshler and Casey across the plate. Noyes beat out a hit toward third and Gibson followed with another hit, but Noyes was caught at third and Olbson between first and second. C. Clair hit to left for two bases, scoring Dough erty with the winning run. Brodbeck struck out: The Crelghton team was easily disposed of, for Doran, who relieved Young In the last Inning, struck out three men. An other game between these teams has been arranged for May 11.
