The Schwarzschlld Sc. Sulzberger Co. has been In continuous operation since 1853. The Company owns (fre
and elear) and operates extensive packing plants in New Tork. Chicago and Kansas City,, which, as appraised by
Messrs. R. V. Hartnett A Co. of New Tork and by Mr. James Miles of Chicago, are valued at $8,697,888.
The Schwantschild A Sulzberger Co. is one of the four largnst parking concerns In the country, doing a business)
of upwards of 373.OO0 OOO 7T. It has facilities for killing over 100.000 cattle, sheep and hogs per week. Th
Company makes a specialty of hotel and club trade, and buys the heaviest and best grade cattle sold at the stock
yarda. Its business Is almost entirely in fresh meats; in faot, its sales of canned goods amount to leas than 1 ot
the total business dons by the Company. - '
