Mayor James C. Dahlman was presented
Monday morning with an oak rhest of
silver from officials and clerks of his ad
ministration. Street Commissioner Tom
Flynn made the presentation In the mayor's
office In the presence of a coterie of donors
and others. The formalities of the pre
sentation consisted of a few remarks by
Mr. Flynn and words of thanks by the
mayor. Commissioner Flynn aald the gift
was a token of love from the mayor's
official family. Mayor Dahlman responded
by thanking the donors and expressing
satisfaction with services rendered by those
under htm In the city hall.
"I believe this administration has come
neater to filling pledges than any other
city administration ever has done," the
mayor modestly declaimed.
