Clearances were 234.230 bushels wheat, itl6,
W bushels corn, 10,17 bushels oats and
wheat and flour equal to tiO.OuO bushels.
Liverpool closed fii lower on wheat
and unchanged on corn.
The quantity of flour last week was 2y 403

of the flour market at the mills continue
to run surprisingly strong. Export busl
ness for he week was very light.
Broomhall cabled that according to a
Cable from Mr. DanVers, Argentina agent,
harvesting is being threatened by unfay
vorable weather, but as yet not much dam
age has been done.
Broomhall cables that according to an
Cfltclal Russian report for December the
outlook for the winter crop In the center,
Baltic aea provinces and south Is generally
satisfactory. In the districts of Volhynla,
Kharkov and Kursh they are of a good
average and In the southwest medium.

This morning the receipts were not quite

throughout the whole day. The opening
was especially slow and during the morning

than like a Thursday. As to prices, it

ging It was hardly possible for them to be
any better, and the general market might
