The supreme court today reversed the case from Pottawattamie oounty of J. M. Stevens against the Citizens Gas and Elec tric company. In which the gas company was appellant. Stevens was driver for the chief of the fire department of Council Bluffs. In responding to a fire at about S o'cloujt the morning of September 17, 1904, he drove Into a ditch or trench which the gas company had opened In laying pipe on 8outh First street. In the district court Stevens won.
