attend the convention for the organisation
of the new Young Women's Christian As
sociation of the United States of America.
Mrs. Harford has bean asked to serve on
the convention's nominating committee, and
this body will have a peculiarly delicate
' task, owing to the union of the two old
organisations, the American committee and

Mrs. Emma F. Byera, general aecretary of
the Joe al association, Joined Mrs. Harford
at Chicago and will serve as the other rep
reentative from Omaha.
