Th annual convention of the State Bar association will be held at Crelgliton In stitute for two days, beginning Thursday. November 22. Nearly all th attorneys of the state an1 members of the association and a large attendance Is expected. The busings of the first day's aes4nn will be dvot?d to the presentation of tlie address of tlie president of the organLia- tlon, C. V. Calkins or Kearney, and the reception of the reports of various com mittees. Including that of the legislative committee, which will recommend several reforms that will be presented for con sideration to the state legislature. At the Friday morning session paper will be read by ex-Senator V. V. Allen of Madison and Prof. Taylor of the t'nl verslty of Nebraska. Mr. Taylor's subject will be, "Monopolies In Law and In Political Economy." The afternoon Ses sion will be devoted to the presentation of a paper by an eminent 6t. Louis attorney, Fred W. Lehman, who will choose as bis subject, "The Lawyer In American His tory." An elaborate banquet will be siren Fri day evening at the Omaha club to the members of the association and friends. The lectures to be given by the different speakers will not be on legal matters. In exclusion, but will be popular lectures, and the public Is cordially Invited to attend.
