At 2:! p. m. Friday, November 9. at her

Reynolds passed away to the great beyond
to join her loved one on th other ide.
Her death brings to a close a life of great
usefulness in the service of humanity. In
her death the community suffer a Jos
that can never be estimated. She leaves a
place vacant in the affection of the people
who knew her work and worth. Indeed, it
may well be said of tier, as waa said of
a well known American: "The world will
be lonesome without you." Miss Reynolds
numbered her friends by her acquaintances
and all who knew her will cherish the
sweet remembrance of her be lit If ul char

For more than thirty year Miss Key
nolds had been identified with th educa
tional interests of the schools of this
county. Her extreme modesty prevented
her from gainlpg gTeatur distinction In her
chosen profession. In all her work there
was nothing artificial. A wholesome genu
ineness permeated every act of her life.
As rural, grade, high school teacher, or
principal she was always conscious of and
faithful to the great trust committed to
her care; the preparation of immortal
souls for an eternal association with the
Infinite. No child ever came into her pre
euce without receiving Inspiration and help
for the best things of life. Her whole life
whs spent in the service of the Master;
school teaching wail only a means. She
slvvaya heeded the scriptural injunction,
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the
least of these, my brethren, ye have done
it unto me." She found her greatest pleas
ure in leading young people to everything
that is pure and wholesome In human life.
Miss Reynolds was a woman of beautiful
character. Her knowledge of child nature,
her patience and eympathy, her serenity,
sincerity and womanliness, were the out
ward manifestation of a noble life, pr
meated and beautified by the christian
graces worthy of emulation.
tne news of her death spread over
xh city, and th school over which h had
been the honored and beloved principal
closed out of respect to her memory,
group of children were aeen here and there
with bowed head, weeping bitterly because
of the lot of her whom they had Warned
to love as their true friend. The Influence
she exerted over these children will never
ceaxes; the beauty of her noble life will
be emulated by the boy and girls who
had the exalted privilege of being led by
one whose life conformed to the similitude
of the Ureal Teacher.
