boulevard proposition. Ths result of ths
meeting was to defer bouievarding Leaven
worth street from Thirty-seventh to
Forty-eighth street until such time as ths
park fund will permit of the work being
done. ' That portion of Leavsnworth street
has been returned to the city by ths park
commissioners, who expressed disposi
tion to Improve the street as soon as they
feel Justified. - The whole situation was
gone over at a recent, meeting of ths West

morning at Twenty-sixth and Harney
streets has become so unbearabla thai the
Inhabitants of the neighborhood are seek
ing means to stop it. Ths Bhrlner and
several other large boarding houses are

lungs reap a weekly harvest there. They
come early and stay late and keep ths
