RIVER TIDE IS GOING DOWN
Bis; Maddy la Falling aad Jane Rlae
Falla ta Excite Air bat
the Timoroaa.
The June rise in the Missouri river,
which Is no longer officially recognised by
the weather man, is a thing of the past
for the river is subsiding. Reports from
the bottom lands near Florence lake at
noon Tuesday showed the river wss fall
and the weather man's report confirms
these. The wafer broke through Into Flor-.
ence lake Monday, but Tuesday this water
was flowing out of the lake Into the river.
The river did not run Into Cutoff Isks
this time snd thus the game fish of th
lake had no opportunity to get away and
are still there waiting for the fishermen.
