In Just the condition that sellers like. Th
trade wa active and prleea were fffiVic
higher than yesterday. Everything in

$6 46, as against $6 37Vtf6 40 yesterday. The
top today was $6.60 and only $,4iV yestor
ds.y The receipt of hogs this week have been
extremely light as compared with previous
weeks, the falling (IT being due appar
ently to the fact that farmers are busy
with their work and have not taken the
lime to snip ihelr hogs. Starting with an
advnnce on Motiuay, the mo met has been
warning gradually nigner, making a new
year a record each any. Today the hogs
sold not only at the highest point of the
veir but at the hlgnest point touched any
day ' since lll. ihe trade most days
this week has been reatonubly active
and the uiarkets entirely satisfactory to
the selling Interests.
