administrator, against the Standard OH
company and others haa been filed In the
J United States circuit court. Attorney Mc-
Hugh, representing the Standard Oil com
I pany. has tiled exceptions to the report of
I the referee, and It begins to look as If the
case will nave to ne brought to trial on Ita
merits. The suit Is for $3,000 damagea oc
casioned by the death of Adams' wife at
Valley through an alleged substitution of
gasoline for coal oil. thereby causing an ex
plosion resulting In the death of Mrs.
Adams. The gasoline, It I, alleged, was
bought from an agent of tha Standard Oil
company at Valley.
