The contract for driving the piling for

was let Saturday to the Nebraska Bridge
for the building have not been finished. "'V
Until this building 1 erected, th new one
of Paxton A Gallagher cannot be begun. "
The grocery stock will have to be moved
into the old home of Parlln, Orendorff A
Martin after this Arm has moved. Then
Paxton 4 Gallagher's present building will

A divorce hss been granted Mr. George
P. Cronk from George P. Cronk, at one
time exalted ruler of the Elk. An un
derstanding was reached between the two
whereby Mr. Cronk did not oppose the
granting of the decree. Th record of real
estate transfers show Mr. Cronk deeded
to Mr. Cronk certain property In Omaha.
Mrs. Cronk, with the children, goes west,
where she will make her home with rela
tives, and Mr. Cronk Is stopping at one of
the Omaha hotel. Th property conveyed
was a lot and a half in Windsor Place.

day for a similar campaign there. Secre
tary Wade bas suggested a placard for the
clock as follows: "This 1 th clock which
raised $108,000 for Omaha. What will it do
for Bt. Paul?" Th clock idea originated
in Omaha, and It proved such a auccess
that th Et. Paul association decided to
adopt It. Th secretary at that city was
anxious to get possession of the famous s
