ment," said John W. Stelnhart of Nebraska

Mr. Stelnhart Is chairman of the Arbor
Day Memorial association and has direc
tion of the arrangements for the ceremonies
In honor of the late J. Sterling Morton
when the monument to his memory will be
unveiled and dedicated In Morton park at
Nebraska City.
"I wish, through The Bee, to correct the
false report sent out by the Associated
Tress regarding the data of this function,"
asserted Mr. Stelnhart. "The Associated
Press reported that It was to be October
14. That is an error. October 28, Saturday,

said that he had been walking and at

negro woman who decoyed him Into an
alley, took hla money from him and then
ran away. The police made an arrest or
two but Oleaon waa unable to Identify the

Twentieth street Wednesday night.
During the parade of Wednesday aftemon

kicking open the kitchen door, and $1 In

A leather suit case was stolen from the
premises of Mrs. La Pine at 716 South
Sixteenth street Wednesday afternoon.
The suit case had been left In her keeping,
