The matter of a club room and headquar ters for the state association and Post A, Travelers' Protective association, Is In the I hands of a committee, which will report soon. Now that Post A has been offered the use of the rooms of the Commercial club one night a month, assuring a per manent place for holding meetings, the members do not fel the need of a club room so keenly and they may decide to wait until spring before establishing head quarters. Then. It Is said, the state as sociation will be better prepared to act In conjunction with them. Yet there Is still a probability that something definite will be done by the post this fall. One of the members who began the agitation of the matter said tliat while the post was sin cerely thankful for the use of the Com mercial club rooms, It would not be satis fied with anything short of Its own Quar ters. NO, 4A4V-A FROCK FOR THE BOT. Here Is a pretty suggestion for a frock for the boy which mothr can fashion without difficulty. It consists of blouss and knickerbockers, the blouse being made with a chemisette. A girdle of the ma terial or leather may belt the blouse In long-walsted manner. A brad box-pleat is Inserted In each side of front and back, ending over the breast in turnback points adorned with hutton'. These afford plenty of variation for the blouse and add to iU appearance of fullness. The chemisette may be made of a plain material of con trasting or ssme color and Is removable, thus permitting of treipient change. The suit Is very simply made and the most Inexperienced dressmaker may attempt It with ease. Any of the soft woolen fabrics, such as serge, tweed or any worsted may develop the suit, ss well as butcher's linen, flannel or crash. For the medium site 2 yards of 64-ln. h material are needed to construct the model. No. 48 6lx.ee, 2 to i years. For the acrnmimidat ion "f readers of Tha Bee these patterns, which usually retail at from X to 60 rents each, will le furnished at the nominal price of 10 cents.
