MARION. Ind . Sept. 16 In carrying oul
her part of a suicide compact entered Into
with her chum Cleo Haugher, who com
mitted suicide at Muncle a month ago, Mlsi
Cleo Thompson, 17 years old. today swab
lowed a laige quantity of a i sonic and died
from the poisoning. Miss Thompson was at
Muncle with the Raugher girl when sh
ended her life by taking srsenlc. It Is be
lleved Miss Thompson purchased the poison
at that time and that she Intended to dlt
with heir friend, but for some reason post
poned her act until today.
Miss Thompson took the poison while on
the street. After swallowing a large quan
tity of the drug thus morning she calle, a
cab and asked to be driven to her home.
She became unconscious before leaving !h
cab and died within a few hours.
