SUCCESSOR .TOJOHN LYNCH
Albert C. Kneel will Be Appnlated
City rintnbtag Inspeelor by
Mayor Moore.
Mayor Moore will appolflt Albert C.
Kugel to succeed John L. Lynch a plumb
ing inspector. Mr. Lynch resigned owing
to differences with the mayor, growing
chiefly out of th latter' contention that
$15 Instead of $25 a month should be allowed
the Inspector for horse hire. The resigna
tion of the former official has been ac
cepted and he will go Into the plumbing
business with a brother already established.
Kugel, If his appointment Is confirmed by
the council, will take up his work Wednes
day. He has been a Journeyman plumber
In Omaha seventeen years and Is now em
ployed by John Roww A Co. He is endorsed
by the numbers' union, for which he has
been financial secretary eight years, and by
the retiring Inspector. There were several
other applicants.

He says 75 per cent of the taxes and In

the bidding of the city and county on

cash returns being $9,406.
NO. 6282 LADIES' SHIRT WAIST FOUN
DATION OR LINING.
The shape of the entire garment Is cor
rectIn cut and style and upon it one may
make any kind of a tucked, frilled or bo
ruflled blouse. The pnttern should le made
In muslin and fitted to the figure, for very
few people are up to the "standard meas
ure," and it Is usually necessary to make
a little alteration. When the pattern Is
once fitted, then the outside and lining
should be cut accordingly, always preserv
ing the original muslin lining for future
use, as It saves any more fittings. Furth
ermore, after a good fitting lining I once
obtained it may be sent to the dressmaker
and all one's waists made by Its measure
ments without the usual tedious fittings.
Sizes, 32 to 44-Inch bust measure.
For the accommodation of readers of The
Bee these patterns, which usually retail at
from 25 to 50 cents eaoh, will be furnished
at the nominal price of 10 cent. A supply
i now kept at our office, ao those who
wish any pattern may get It either by cfclU
Ing or enclosing 10 cent, addressed "Pat
tern Department, Bee, Omaha."
