BEE WALKS OV WOnLD-IIER AID Base Ball Match Between Printers Shons Expected Result. Teams representing the mechanical de partments of the World-Herald and The Bee clashed on 'he diamond yesterday afternoon with the expected result. The Bee team put the other fellows to Inglori ous rout. The fielding errors were In a large measure due to the rough condition of the grounds at Twentieth and Paul, where the game was played. But this doesn't account for all of them. The World-Herald boys say "f'orky" Cox has been so accustomed to putting graphite on spacebands that he couldn't keep It off his hands, with the result that he Is charged with three fat, Juicy blunders nt first. Tony Schneckenburger pitched curves that look like his name, hut he was up against a bunch of swatters who are accustomed to even tougher things than that, and as a result he was walloped heftlly. Klland, before the game commenced, so he Is noth ing loser. The real feature of the game was Patterson s slide ror home, when no scored from first on Duncan's home run. It was certainly a beautiful dive, and any body who doubts It an go out today and see where Pat tore up the ground. The score: BEE. WORLD-HERALD. K.H.O.A.E. R.H.O.A.E.
