Senator Millard returned Sunday from SL Louis where he had been taklns in the fair. "I am greatly pleased with what I have seen," he said, "but what Impressed me more than anything else was the Philippine exhibit. The government has made a splen did exhibition and has rfhown conclusively that the Islands were not and are r.ot In a position for self-government. I also wos greatly pleased with the Nebraska agri cultural exhibit and the Nebraska build ing. What pleased me espclally was the moving picture exhibition of Nebraska farms and farming. It was certainly a great Idea and one of the best possible ad vertisements for th3 state. The moving pictures show the farms, the operation it sowing, planting, threshing, reaping and mowlng-rhow Interior views and give one an excellent Idea of the agricultural pos sibilities of the state. The fair Is the best I have ever seen. I did not see much of Chicago's fair for bankers In 1S93 were staying at home attending to business most of the time."
