abolished, although the author finds noth-"

"Araby," by Baroness von Hutten (The
Smart Set Publishing company) is one of
the typical Smart Set stories; well told
and full of a certain kind of ginger which
today seems a necessary concomitant to
books ' Intended for "smart" reading. It
deals with a cruise in the Mediterranean
ocean in which two men of the world, a I
, married woman, a young woman, a dog
and a monkey are the actors. All the
actors are introduced in the first chapter
and they keep together until the heroine
jumps Into the ocean and the hero--but
