The Incidents of the day were few and
were of little influence. The omao of r vji. .

the transfer of government deposits from

equivalent to the payment last Saturday

Amalgamated Copper, the security prin

Advances In Hugars are equally without

CAl'TLh, There waa another large run of
cattle today, though not up to Hie record
made yesterday. The recelpta consisted
very largely ot corn ted steers with very
little of anything else. While there were
some light gooa cattle here tooay, there
were not aa many, aa yesterday ana qui is
a sprinkling of only fair kinds.
Tnere was a good demand for desirable
klnua of fat eattle tbia morning and buy
ers were all In the aaddle at an early
hour. Right good cattle, especially handy
weights whlon were lust what packera
happened to want, were ateady wun yes
teiuay. Other kinds were weak to 10c
luwer and not particularly active at the
decline, still, considering the rum for the
two days the market waa In vary satis
factory .condition.
Cows and heifers were In very light sup
ply and, ns there waa a good aciiv de
mand, everything was disposed of In good
season at fully steady prices.
blockers and teedera were also in very
light supply, though .there were possibly
a few inure loada on sale than yesterday.
Buyers seemea to nave neea ot every-
thinv In aiirht and ft did not take them
very long to clean up the yards at good
strong prices.

and the arrivals all changed hands In
good season In the morning. The trade
might best bo described ss a good, strong
ana active market. Buyers seem to want
everything coming, at least everything ill
