PENVER, April CO. (Special Ttlgrnm.)
Tim lrnvrr Cub took the third gamo
f the sfrlrs from Omaha today by the
core of 12 to 8, In a slugging match In
whlrh the visitors ontbaltcd the locals, re
viving fourtoen rlean hltft to thirteen for
the Cubs. There were four home runs'
made during the progress of the game,
both teams shnrlng evenly In these. Welch
ml Howard fur the Invaders are credited
with a clear circle each, while Braun and
Bmlth brought one home run each In for
the locals. Omaha lost the game through
the wildness of Henderson, who was
touched up generously by the locals until
the sixth Inning, when Shnfstall came to
the rubber and put a stop to the onslaught
by the Cubs. Kenna too, was hit hard by
the Omaha men, but they were of the scat
tered verlety and were nipped by the good
fielding of the local men. Henderson wns
accorded rather ragged support during the
time he officiated. There were no startling
features throughout the contest. Score:

COLLEGIANS BEAT -THE ALIMM
Lively Game on Crelghton Field Won
any the Youngsters.
The once or twice postponed game be
tween the Crelghton university ball team of
the present day and the has-beens of the
same Institution was pulled off on Crelghton
held yesterday afternoon and resulted In
showing that the heyday of the graduate
has unmistakably pusscd, when it comes
to putting up the quality of base ball that
Is required in these troublesome times.
O'Houlan, the pitcher selected to do things
for the old boys, got his quietus In tlio
fifth Inning and Prlmo, who took his place,
proved to be not so fnuch for the college
boys. But they all had lots of fun and
that was what the game waa played for.

simply by taking Wine of Uanlui a lew months,
