OUT LOOKING FOR CHANGE
Btrancer Who Take Rarallat'a
Twmtjr to Rresk la Missing;
I'p to Date,
K. J. Dixon of York, Neb., came to
Omaha for a few days and registered at a
first-class hotel. Tie went out for a look
around town, to see how the Auditorium
was progressing and to see whether the Ice
In the river waa breaking up. Growing
hungry, he dropped Into a restauant and
offered a $20 bill In payment for the meal.
The bill could not be changed by the
cashier, and Dixon wns awkd to have It
changed. He handed It to a stranger to
get it reduced to smaller denominations.
The stranger has not yet returned and It
I thought he may either have become lost
or has met with some difficulty In getting
the bill changed. Anyway, Dixon would
like the police department to find the
Itranger and the money.
William Wills, better known ns "Silver
Will." has since been nrrested by De
tectives Heltfeld and Donohoe and charged
with larceny as bailee, ho being the man
who Is aaJd to have taken Dixon's money.
