tition of the market of Wednesday. The
Omaha- market, however, did not advance
aa rapidly a the Chicago quotation, being
mora conservative. War talk and heavy
buying by tha large bull interest are the
cause of tba high market. Tha Omaha
market opened strong at or above cloning
quotation, and advanced without any
break, the Cloning price being- around the
top. May corn was the feature of tha
business, but May wheat also wa active.
The buying by Omaha broker wa not aa
heavy an Wednesday. The market ha
been bulled up to on May corn sine
Monday, and tha grain men are loaded, up
and playing safe.

CATTLE Receipts of cattl this morning
were far from heavy, there being less than
one hundred cars reported in when the mar
ket opened. Advices from other Belling
point were indicating a steady market and
that. Was the feeling here. While .the ide
round wa not very urgent packers all
seemed to want a few loads and buyers for
the most part were out In good season and
the offerings Were mostly cleaned up early
In the forenoon.
Beef steers of good quality were scarce,
the great bulk of the offering consisting
of common to medium kind. Buyers, how
ever, took the best of them at steady price,
while common kinds were loner. The same
might be said of cow stuff, for as Id a from
a few. good heifers there waa not much in
sight that could be called very desirable.
Bulls, stags,- veal calve, eta.', sold In
about th same notches as yesterday.
Stockers and feeder were in moderate
upply and the market waa without any
very material change.
