The corn market wa Influenced mainly
bv tha action of wheat. Thers was early
selling by local bears, due to the easier
tone In wheat, but when prices In the
wheat pit advanced, a moderate commis

was decidedly downw:ud. The close of the
market yesterday was cgaln weak sna ine
decline todav started In where It left oil
jesterdav. At compared with yesterday,
the market today was all of a ims lower
sr.d in extreme cases It amounted to rm
much at, 15c. The common and medium
grades showed the greatest loss. As com
pared with a week ago. except In the cas
of something extra choice, the marxet is
right aiound a quarter lower, with com
mon stuff hard to move at the dexilne.
Trading was rather slow from start to
finish.
The feeder situation was prscticatiy un
changed. Not enough were offered to make
a feTr tet of the market, but anything
choir would undoubtedly have sold steady.
