As supplies were not at all excessive, a good clearance was mads at a reasonably tarly hour. ' There was an active demand for cow stuff and the market could be quoted steady to strong. The strength, however, was con fined very largely to the mora desirubia kinds, but at the same time even canneis and cutters changed hands readily at fii:l steady prices. As high aa 33.35 waa paid today fur cows and heifers. Bulla, veal calves and stags sold at prac tice ily steady prices ail around. There were only a few Blockers and feed ers on sale and, the same as has been tho case for the last several days, the demand was quite brisk and prices ruled steady to strong.
