When Wllllama went out to attend to the farm work after breakfast Friday morn lng Mrs. Williams sent their two children to the school, nearby. She then dresred herself and after packing a small hand griD wrote a letter to her husband, advising him that she was going away with Lewis and that It would be useless fur him to look for her. Williams was for a time completely pros trated when ha found that his wife had de serted him. He took the children to the home of a neighboring family and at once started on the trail of the runaway couple. Ftom what he learned he Is of the opinion that they came Jo Council Bluffs, but search of the city yesterday failed to locate them, and It Is supposed they have gone to Illinois, where Lewis' home Is.
