Some members of the Barbers' union
Insist that If the boss barbers of the city
carry out their plana as now laid there will
be a ntrlke of r.o small dimensions Thtirs-
day evening. The prospective trouble Is
over the hours of opening and closing the
shops. Several months ago the bosses and
the union made an agreement that the
working hours should be from 7.30 in the
morning until 7 In the evening, and now
the bosses contend that this arrangement
was made for the summer months only and

that the time for cpenlng and closing was
fixing permanently or Indefinitely, snd the
sentiment of the members Is against allow
ing the longer hours.
