MILWAUKEE. Wis.. Sept. 11. (Special
Telegram.) Bhugart's wild throw and O.
Millar1 fumble and wild pitch later coat
Omaha tha second game of the present
aerie with Duffy's leaden. The game was
won and lost In the second Inning. Cock-
man atarted tha trouble by a tingle In this
Inning and Miller waa aent to first on balla.
Then, to make matters worse, Fltcher
Miller fumbled a bunt and filled the bases:
Stone followed and hit a ahort ope to Shu
gart. The aecond baaemnn handled It
cleanly, but threw when It was too late
to catch tha runner. The ball went wild
and before It could be returned three men
had croaaed the plate, but one of the runa
being earned. In the meantime Stone had
reached third and he, too, cantered home
on the wild pitch. The Creams added an
other run In the third, rtraun crossing- the
plate on an error of Genlna', who fumbled
Hall's grounder. A single, a double and
another single In the sixth gave them an
other run.
Rourka'a men got just as ,many hits as
did the Creams, but their base running
was poor and they could not take advan
tage of the opportunities offered. A double
by Thomas and a atfngle by Gondlng netted
a run In the teooeid and it would have been
two If Shu art, who had reached first on
four bad balls, had not permitted himself
to be caught off . third base by a quick
throw by Lucia. In the eighth Inning It
looked as If the Nebraskans might tie the
score. After Genlns had gone out Duffy
dropped D. Miller's fly and Thornton sin
gled. One man crossed the plate and Shu-
gart was given a Ufa at second and
Thomas at first on an error of Coaley Mil
ler's, filling the bases. A couple of hits
would have tied the score, but Hlckey
ended the suspense by sending a high fly
back of the second base line which Miller
captured. Attendance, 300. Score:
