Omaha, outplayed Milwaukee at every
tnrn ytyiterday and won by tha broad
margtr. of 10 to 2. Both Kenna and Vollen
dorf were, hit at tha right time, and each
ma da costly errors.
Bandera wan on tha rubber for Pa Bill's
wen, and In tha very first Inning atarted
out fine. Kelly made a couple of sensa
tional stopa and Bandera threw tha third
man out at first. Then Carter came to
tha bat and slapped a bounder at Kenna.
Kenna was tired and reached after It
languidly with his feathered hand. It
bounced out of hla mlt and Carter waa
forced out at second by Ocnlns. Miller
smashed ona to hla namesake at . aecond
and a neat double was turned on tha
-Rourkettes.
Bhugart began tha circus stunts tn tha
oersond by dragging down a high ona off
O'Neill's hat. Braun swatted out a thrte
toagger and 3atlns followed with a double,
coring one. Miller scratched and Lucia
jabbed ona to Bandera, who oaught Oatlna
at tha plate. Meanwhile Lucia waa swing
ing on toward second and Oondlng doubled
tha ball back to Shugart and Miller kept
on coming home. Bhugart returned tha
throw badly to Jawnle, and tiia aecond
core waa In. Kenna went out at first
without any argument.
Nothing; to It bat Omaha.
In Omaha's half of the second Thornton
reached first on another of Kenna'a languid
ktaba at a ball. Bhugart struck out and
Kelly singled. Thornton stole home while
Kelly pilfered second. Mickey went Out at
11 rat and Oondlng singled and brought In
Kelly.
In the ' third Omaha finished up With
Kenna by taklug three mora on a combi
nation of two hits, a base on balls and an
error of Kenna'a. This brought In Vollen
dorf and there waa a cessation of doings
for a whole Inning, but a couple of hits and
an error by Miller humbled Vollendorf to
tha extent of two rani, In tho lucky
aavanth Vollendorf got In his work. After
two men had been nicely reduced to
decimals ha hit. Bhugart on the olbow and
Millar failed to get him out at second on
Kelly's weak poke. Hlckey slammed at
tha fall aru. It fell In front of Vollendorf.
who gathered It up, sat down and threw
wildly tor first base. That let In two
runs and Oondlng's double brought In the
thya for the inning".
in tha meantime Bandera was pitching
(championship ball and was getting the
finest of support. With the exception of
Shugart's bad throw In the second Inning
Xjit an Omaha player waa guilty of a
ftp, and some really sensational work waa
shown. Bhugart more than redeemed htm
aielf by cutting off some apparently safe
hits, and Kelly took care of eight hard
chances In the finest style. Miller, who Is
a prime favorite, contributed a circus
catch and made a pair of slides to the
ruate that were worth going all the way
down to tha park to see. Milwaukee had
men on bases and no one out sevtral times,
but couldn't get the run in. -
The same teams will play again today
