Hnbbrr for Ibe Larala and rrrforma Mrlr, Allboash Somrnhat Mild at Time. Th way Pa Bill's tallender drew circle round Hugtiey Duffle' r1nlea1r y lr,ax afternoon was a caution to small boy a Pa bill had a corner on all of tha klbvries In the kingdom and revived the llcky seventh, all of which made a total acore of I to I. Kenna provided tha twist era for tha visitor and was a difficult proposition except In tha saventh, when he vii easy money. Companion waa on tha alab for the Rourkltea. and with the es- ceptlon of a little untimely wildness, provi-d a wlsard. Whenever he got Into a hole he generally managed to crawl out without being damaged much. Btone waa first man up and received an ovation from the spectators so generous that Companion handed him a base on a liver platter. McVkker a sacrlfica got htm on to second and Cockman flew out to Oentns. Then O'Neill smashed one out to Mickey and lilckey grabbed It and tagged Stone as ha went by. In their half of the first the, Rourkltea cabbaged a large and aucculent tally. Carter amaahed an easy one to Cockman, who fumbled It and Gen Ins waited and got first. Then Miller sacri ficed them both on a peg and CarUr came In oa Snug-art's fly to renter. Welch fanned and It waa all over. Aloaao'a Tarea-Baaaer It waa tha third when the Creams bfgan their run getting and Alonao'a three-bagger waa the beginning of It. Then two were put down and O'Neill secured a pass to first and Thornton smashed out a doublo, which let In Btone, but wasn't quite long enough to keep O'Neill from being caught at tha plate. With two down In the seventh Milwaukee began lis gruesome work again. McVlckera walked and scored tha very next minute on Cockman'a triple. Then Pa Bill placed all of his charma and by-words on the altar and sent Ehugart to tha aawbuck. Shugart amaahed out a nice single, but Welch 1 forced him out at second. Pa whispered to QmmiiiH wiu xnonaeyea wun a couple Jifora he got tha one he wanted, but then landed on It and whaled It out Into the tall grassea. When It came back there waa tha run that tlra In and Thomas resting softly on third. Then Mickey dabbed one Into left field and TJiomaa acampercd In. Oondlng flew out to Alonso Btone and Com panion knocked the ball about a mile and got two tapes for his trouble. A wild pitch carried him another ban and the passed ball on Carter's third strike brought him In. ,Oenlns failed to make good and the IrWVent out with three runs to the good. kTjIwaukee secured another run In the eighth, but It didn't make any difference In the result of the game. Thomas' catch of Thornton's ly back .of third base waa the feat 'ire of tha game. Today the earns tms will hava another try at tha aama stand. Score: OMAHA. AB. R IB. PO. A.
