Intelligence having been received finally that Judge Sul livan had denied the writ for which the lawyers were contending, the Judgment of the court wu cariitj out. Rhea met his fate with a manifestation of nerve that in no way resembled bravado, but which seemed none tha less Imperturb able. There was nothing seemingly of the while the death wsrrant was being read. It was an elaborate dinner, with numerous side dishes, and topped off with a generous slice of pie.
